Byron Thomas Norton, 27, of Bealeton, died June 17, 2008 in Orange County. Mr. Norton was born Aug. 19. 1980 in Warrenton to Thomas James Norton and Deborah Morse Norton. Byron truly loved his children and enjoyed his work at Vulcan Materials, where he was employed as a rail brakeman.

Surviving Mr. Norton are his parents, Thomas James Norton of Bealeton, and Deborah Morse Reed of Madison; his children, Dayshawnna Norton and Mar’kus Slaughter both of Culpeper; his sister, Loretta Reed of Madison; step-sister, Vadette Reed of Burton, Mich.; step-father, Ralph Reed of Madison and his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Phillips of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, Virginia 22701. Interment will follow in Madison Memorial Gardens, Pratts, Virginia.
