CELEBRATING MARDI GRAS: Colorful beads, masks, awesome weather and Davis Street was lined with folks Saturday to celebrate Mardi Gras in Culpeper. Members of the Virginia Renaissance Faire discussed how the “tiny magical fairies” inside of a camera capture a moment perfectly that can be recreated later to enjoy.

CARRIAGE CHEER. Taking a horse drawn carriage ride was one of many fun happenings during the Mardi Gras event Saturday. Rides were provided by Art Magner of Breckenridge Carriage. The amazing weather drew a phenomenal crowd and the streets of downtown Culpeper were lined with visitors.
