EKG offers year-long hunter shows
The EKG show series hosts hunter shows, Feb. 22, March 29, April 12, May 10, June 14, July 31, Aug. 9, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11 at Hill Valley Farm in Spotsylvania. Log onto for a prize list.

‘Casual’ show series planned through winter
The Mitchell Dressage Series will host shows Feb. 1 and March 1 in Bluemont. Show rules allow winter coats, chaps and â??anything you need to stay warm,â? said organizer Anna Mitchell. â??We may as well be warm while we show.â?

Piedmont Expo, Virginia Horse Festival in March
The annual Piedmont Horse and Pet Expo is in Culpeper on March 21. Log onto for event details.
The Virginia Horse Festival is slated March 28 at the Meadow Event Park in Doswell. There will be clinics, demonstrations, shopping, breed exhibits, dog agility shows and more.
