Thereâ??s an easy way this holiday season for you to help bring joy to the children in our community. Culpeper Human Services is seeking monetary donations or childrenâ??s gifts as well as asking men in our community to volunteer their time at this yearâ??s Culpeper Men Care Event.
Saturday, Dec. 20, Culpeper Human Services will host their Second Annual, Culpeper Men Care Event. This event will allow low income families to have breakfast with Santa, participate in holiday shopping, as well as other fun activities. Local men are encouraged to volunteer their time by spending the time being a part of this wonderful experience. This initiative compliments the Male-Involvement program through Culpeper County Head Start.
This is a great opportunity also for businesses, law enforcement, government officials and regular guys to take part in bringing the Joy of the season to the community. If you are interested in donating, checks can be made payable to DHS-Special Fund.
Businesses can be sponsors and participate in our â??Levels of Giving.â?
Our â??Levels of Givingâ? are:
One Peppermint for a $50 Donation
Two Peppermints for a $100 Donation
Three Peppermints for a $200 Donation and so on.
Your â??Level of Givingâ? will be displayed as Peppermints with your company name at our event in thanks for your participation.
Other donations and gifts can be dropped off at 1401 Old Fredericksburg Road. Credit card payments can also be made over the phone at 829-2124. Tax deductible receipts will be mailed or given out at the time of donation.
If you would like to volunteer your time on event day please call 829-2124 and leave your contact information for Wilma Morales or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
With your help we are looking forward to another successful year in brightening the lives of our children this Holiday Season.
