The Culpeper Times celebrates the following students for their success at the college level.

Davis and Elkins College

Conner Berkey of Brandy Station, VA participated in the Appalachian Ensemble Fall Performance presented in Myles Center for the Arts Harper-McNeeley Auditorium on the College campus.

A collective of dancers and string musicians, Appalachian Ensemble’s repertoire focuses mainly on the music and dance of the Appalachian region, and includes other music and dance traditions as well.

Berkey, a senior, performed as a member of the dance team.

Appalachian Ensemble performs on campus and throughout the region.

Virginia Military Institute

Cadet Ashtin A. Singh of Amissville, VA marched in the inauguration parade for new Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe on Saturday, Jan. 11 in Richmond, VA.
